What Are Dissolver Treatments?

Dissolver treatments involve using hyaluronidase to break down hyaluronic acid-based fillers when adjustments or corrections are needed. This is ideal for refining results, removing lumps, or addressing overfilled areas.

Kybella® treatments use deoxycholic acid to break down and absorb unwanted fat cells, primarily under the chin (submental fullness) to eliminate a “double chin.” Kybella® can also be used off-label in certain small areas to reduce stubborn pockets of fat and improve contour.

We begin with a comprehensive consultation to evaluate your concerns, discuss your goals, and create a personalized treatment plan.

During a dissolver treatment, hyaluronidase is carefully injected into targeted areas to break down filler. Results start appearing within 24–48 hours.

For Kybella®, a series of small injections are administered into the fat under the chin or other agreed-upon areas. Some swelling is expected and indicates that the treatment is working. Multiple sessions (usually 2–4 treatments) may be needed for optimal results, with gradual improvements over several weeks.

How quickly will I see results?

For dissolvers, improvements start within 24–48 hours. For Kybella®, swelling is common initially, and visible fat reduction typically develops over 4–6 weeks after each session.

Is the treatment painful?

Both treatments involve minor discomfort. We use fine needles and offer numbing options to ensure your comfort.

How long do results last?

Once fat cells are destroyed by Kybella®, they are gone permanently. Dissolver results are also long-lasting as the filler is broken down completely.

Are there side effects?

Swelling, bruising, and tenderness are common and usually resolve within a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on the treatment.

Can all fillers be dissolved?

Hyaluronidase works on hyaluronic acid-based fillers but not on other types. We’ll evaluate your filler type during your consultation.

How many Kybella® treatments will I need?

Can I get new filler after dissolving?
